Drought strategy plan and evaluation — Part 2

My study herd manager informed me that the drought is getting more severe in his area. My previous drought work with ranchers leads me to believe that a drought year can impact a beef cow herd's economic performance for several years into the future.As a result, I suggested that we develop a comprehensive drought plan for his herd over a 10-year period (2019-28). This approach should fully bring both the drought and the cyclical nature of cattle prices into play.
