Objective: Diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) has the potential of being able to reflect histopathology architecture, A novel imaging approach, namely histogram analysis, is used to further characterize tissues on MRI. The aim of this study was to correlate histogram parameters derived from apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) maps with serological parameters in myositis.
