摘要

One of the most difficult problems met during development of implantable medical devices (IMD) is minimization of heating of surrounding tissues [1-4]. The existing IMD safety standards set the permissible temperature limit at 39-41°C [4]. Heating to 42°C already leads to pathological changes in tissues. Even within the permissible range, prolonged heating leads to discomfort and increases the risk of infection. Thus, it is recommendable to reduce heating even within the permissible range.
