摘要

Auditory verbal hallucinations (AVH) occurring in the healthy population can be used to isolate the brain mechanisms underlying classic symptoms of psychosis. Alderson-Day et al. report that healthy people with AVH show distinct cognitive and neural processes, specific to language, that lead them to hear speech in ambiguous sound stimuli.
