Celebrating Fifty YearsPart 4: The Future of Bonsai in North America

For my contribution to the four part series of Celebrating Fifty Years, I am tasked with looking into my crystal ball and predicting the future of Bonsai in America. As President of this esteemed organization, it is a subject that interests me greatly. I have many personal thoughts on the matter, but also wanted to gather the opinions of those who feature prominently in the current bonsai scene. I was fortunate to solicit the opinions of Bjorn Bjorholm, Ryan Neil, and Bill Valavanis, who all kindly took time to speak with me at lengthon this subject. I sincerely appreciate and thank them for their time as well as, of course, the tremendous contributions that each has already made to bonsai in North America.
