Rhodiola crenulata root extract ameliorates fructose-induced hepatic steatosis in rats: Association with activating autophagy

Background: Increasing evidence has shown the beneficial effects of Rhodiola species on metabolic disorders, but their mechanisms are not clear. Hepatic steatosis is closely related to metabolic disorders, we aim to investigate the therapeutic effects of Rhodiola crenulata root (RCR) on fructose-induced hepatic steatosis and explore the underlying mechanisms.
