Spennconn, owned by the Consolis Group, is a Norway based manufacturer of construction and railway products made from concrete. The company's factory, located in the town of Honefoss, has a high energy requirement for concrete drying, as well as for heating its buildings in the often bitterly cold Norwegian climate. As a result, Spennconn made an agreement with local bioenergy supplier Oplandske Bioenergi to deliver heated water to the factory via an onsite biomass energy centre.
