Genomics and evolution - a personal appraisal. [Review] [38 refs]

After a brief introduction about present approaches in evolutionary thinking and systems biology, I present a review about the most recent research of our group, with special reference to the genomics of Amerindians. This information was integrated with the present knowledge and concepts in this area.
