MOVES: Rio Tinto appoints Simon Trott as chief commercial officer

LONDON (ICIS)--Global mining major Rio Tinto on Monday announced the appointment of Simon Trott as chief commercial officer (COO), effective 1 January 2018. The position is a new addition to the London-headquartered multinational's executive board. Trott will be based in Singapore, and made accountable for the sales and marketing, marine, commercial treasury, market analysis, and procurement teams.
