LONDON (ICIS)--Germany’s federal statistics agency said on Thursday that the country’s gross domestic product (GDP) grew by a 'hefty' 0.8% in the third quarter from the second, confirming its initial estimate from earlier this month. The growth came after GDP rose 0.6% in the second quarter and 0.9% in the first, Wiesbadenbased Statistisches Bundesamt said.
