Australian Potash reports A$6.8m full-year net losses; SOP project on track

LONDON (ICIS)--Australian Potash said on Monday reported net losses of Australian dollar (A$) 6.8m ($5.2m) for the year ending 30 June 2017, as it continues to develop its Lake Wells site some 500km northeast of Kalgoorlie, the sulfate of potash (SOP) start-up said on Monday. The A$6.8m loss comes a year after the company posted net losses in excess of A$4.7m in 2016, but Chairman Matt Shackleton remains bullish on the company's prospects, following a "very positive" scoping study at the Eastern Goldfields prospect earlier this year.
