Thailand's TPI Polene reverts to LDPE output at EVA/LDPE swing plant

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Thailand's TPI Polene started another round of production campaign for low density polyethylene (LDPE) at its swing plant for a duration of around one month amid steady-to-firm LDPE prices, a company official said on Tuesday. The producer's 158,000 tonne/year ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA)/LDPE plant at Map Ta Phut comprises two tubular reactors, out of which one is a dedicated EVA production unit.
