US pending homes sales rise 3.5% in October

HOUSTON (ICIS)--US pending home sales rebounded in October after three straight months of declining activity, but they were still below their year-ago level, the National Association of Realtors (NAR) said on Wednesday. The group said that its forward-looking pending homes sales index rose by 3.5% from September to 109.3 in October. However, the index is still down 0.6% from October 2016.
