Partial shutdown at Shanghai Petrochemical's cracker in April

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Sinopec Shanghai Petrochemical is planning to shut a line with a 400,000 tonne/year ethylene capacity at its cracker in the first half of April for maintenance, a source close to the company said on Wednesday. The facility in Jinshan, Shanghai will shut for around 45 days, the source said. The cracker’s 300,000 tonne/year ethylene line will continue to run normally.
