5th workshop for doctoral students in object-oriented systems

摘要

The 5th ECOOP Workshop for Doctoral Students in Object-Oriented Systems provided a forum for lively discussions between PhD students, with topics ranging from the technical work of each attendant to non-technical issues like writing about one's work. This report describes the structure of "ECOOP PhD workshops", summarizes the topics that have been discusses, and reflects the workshop structure, giving some advice for organizing similar events. It is based on the authors' experiences and on feedback from workshop participants.
