US Ascend plans 10-15% capacity expansion of nylon 6,6 chain

HOUSTON (ICIS)--Ascend Performance Materials intends to increase capacity of its nylon 6,6 polymers and intermediate chemicals by 10-15%, the US-based producer announced on Friday. Ascend is expanding capacity of adiponitrile (ADN), hexamethylenediamine (HMDA), adipic acid and polymers through 2018.
