US Demilec makes spray foam with new HFO blowing agent

ATLANTA (ICIS)--Huntsman spray-foam business, Demilec, has developed a polyurethane using the latest generation of blowing agents, all while producing an insulator that has the industry's highest score. In addition, the polyester polyol used to make the polyurethane is made of soybean oil and polyethylene terephthalate (PET). The recycled PET content has allowed Demilec to recycle millions of plastic bottles to make its spray foam.
