Petrobras recovers more funds from Brazil corruption scandal

HOUSTON (ICIS)--Petrobras has recovered Brazilian real (R) 1.03bn ($270m) from Brazil’s massive Lava Jato, or car wash, corruption scandal, the state oil, gas and refining major said in an update on Thursday. The money was recovered “through cooperation and leniency agreements” between individuals and legal entities on one side and Brazil’s federal public prosecutor's office in Curitiba and its office of the attorney general on the other.
