US June home builder confidence falls amid higher lumber prices

HOUSTON (ICIS)--US builder confidence for newly built, single-family homes in June fell by two points on the National Association of Home Builders/Wells Fargo Housing Market Index (HMI), but sentiment remains solid, the NAHB said on Monday. The June HMI fell to 68 from 70 in May, mostly because of sharply higher lumber prices.
