OMNOVA Q1 net income doubles amid US tax reform

HOUSTON (ICIS)--OMNOVA Solutions posted a Q1 net income of $7.3m, more than double the $3.6m in the same time last year, because of recent federal tax reform, the US-based supplier of emulsion polymers, specialty chemicals, and functional and decorative surfaces said on Wednesday. The company's total net sales for the quarter were $178.7m, slightly above the $174.6m during the same time last year.
