European MEK price range narrows as Europe, global spot remains tight

LONDON (ICIS)--The range of European methyl ethyl ketone (MEK) spot prices narrowed this week, with the higher and lower ends of the previous range going out of the market, according to sources on Tuesday. Spot prices were assessed at ?2,050-2,150/tonne FD (free delivered) NWE (northwest Europe), up ?50/tonne on the low end and down ?50/tonne on the high end.
