AFPM '18: Fourth US April butadiene nomination heard at 62 cents/lb

SAN ANTONIO (ICIS)--The fourth nomination for US April butadiene (BD) was heard for a 3 cent/lb ($66/tonne) increase, sources said on Monday. This puts the producer's nomination at 62 cents/lb. The previous three nominations were for contract prices at 61 cents/lb, 63 cents/lb and 65 cents/lb. Sources have said they expect the contract to settle toward the low-60s cents/lb, as supply is snug but the Asian market is showing signs of weakening.
