US polyether polyol prices decline on falling feedstock costs

HOUSTON (ICIS)--US prices for polyether polyols were assessed 3 cents/lb ($66/tonne) lower as sharp decreases in feedstock costs pressured prices downward. Crude oil futures have fallen around $20/bbl since early October, putting pressure on prices across the petrochemical chain. Propylene feedstock costs posted a 10 cent/lb decrease in November on weaker energy costs and improved propylene supply.
