US MMA September contracts hit high on strong demand, tight supply

HOUSTON (ICIS)--Existing market conditions of tight supply and strong demand boosted freely negotiated contracts in the US methyl methacrylate (MMA) market. September contracts were assessed by ICIS higher by 1 cent/lb ($22/tonne) from August, putting prices at 177-187 cents/lb on US rail and 179-189 cents/lb for US tank truck.
