India’s Ratnagiri refinery & petrochemical project delayed to 2025

MUMBAI (ICIS)--India’s mega refinery project planned in Ratnagiri will be delayed for three years due to land acquisition problems, a senior official at the Maharashtra state government said on Wednesday. Commissioning of the planned 1.2m bbl/day refinery and integrated petrochemical complex under Ratnagiri Refineries & Petrochemicals Ltd (RRPCL) is now expected in 2025, as shown in the company’s website, from the initial schedule of 2022.
