China’s Liaoning to relocate 38 chemical plants, close 79 others

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s northeastern province of Liaoning has decided to move out 38 chemical plants away from populous cities, and close another 79, according to a statement from the provincial government website. Meanwhile, 71 other facilities were identified as needing upgrades, while proposed solutions to five more plants are pending.
