Southeast Asia MA indications rise to $1,440- 1,450/tonne

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Discussions for maleic anhydride (MA) into southeast Asia were firmer at $1,440-1,450/tonne in the week on tight supply and higher feedstock butane prices. On 4 May, ICIS assessed MA prices at $1,430-1,440/tonne CFR (cost & freight) southeast Asia. While demand was muted, market participants, including buyers, increased their indications based on higher feedstock butane prices and tight supply of cargoes.
