Global MDI demand to grow faster than supply - US Huntsman

HOUSTON (ICIS)--Global demand growth for methyl di-p-phenylene isocyanate (MDI) should grow faster than supply growth through 2022, the head of US-based Huntsman said on Tuesday. Demand for MDI should grow by 6%/year, rising to 9.1m tonnes/year from 6.7m tonnes/year in 2017, according to the company.
