Outages to be expected at Bolivian YPFB's urea, ammonia plant - Acron

HOUSTON (ICIS)--Recent outages at the Yacimientos Petroliferos Fiscales Bolivianos (YPFB) ammonia and urea plant in Bulo Bulo are a normal part of launching new operations, Russian fertilizer producer Acron told the Bolivia Ministry of Hydrocarbons on Monday. Since starting commercial production in October, the $850m export-oriented facility (capable of generating 2,100 tonnes/day of granular urea and 1,200 tonnes/day of ammonia) has been sidelined several times.
