Fitch downgrades Brazil to BB-on ffscal deffcits, public debt

HOUSTON (ICIS)-Fitch Ratings downgraded Brazil to a BB-from a BB because of the country's large and persistent ffscal deffcits and its large and growing amount of government debt, it said on Friday. At the same time, the legislature has failed to pass reforms that would improve the nation's ffnances, it said.
