US ExxonMobil, BASF to develop gas treating alliance for natgas processing, crude refining

HOUSTON (ICIS)--ExxonMobil’s catalysts and licensing branch and BASF have agreed to jointly develop new gas treating solvents and process technologies for natural gas processing and petroleum refining, ExxonMobil said on Tuesday. BASF will market and license technologies developed from the collaboration, along with FLEXSORB and OASE technologies, the company said.
