EU, eurozone construction output up in July - Eurostat

LONDON (ICIS)--Productivity in the key chemicals end market of construction rose 0.4% month on month in the EU in July, statistics body Eurostat said on Wednesday, while output in the eurozone rose 0.3% over the same period. Increases in building construction - business and residential - drove growth in both regions during the month, rising by 1.9% in the 19-country eurozone and 1.7% in the EU, composed of 28 countries.
