US producer prices dip 0.1% in August

HOUSTON (ICIS)--The US producer price index (PPI) for final demand declined 0.1% in August, from July, seasonally adjusted, the US Bureau of Labor Statistics said in a report on Wednesday. On an un-adjusted basis, the final demand index rose 2.8% for the 12 months ended in August.
