APIC '18: Asian PTA prices higher, bullish trend in futures market

KUALA LUMPUR (ICIS)--China import purified terephthalic acid (PTA) prices rose, tracking gains in the futures market, according to sources on Monday. PTA futures for September 2018 contract rose by 3.5%, compared to prices on 20 August. Higher prices in the futures, coupled with steady downstream, have boosted prices for imports.
