LONDON (ICIS)--EU April imports and exports of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) rose year on year, according to the latest data from Eurostat. April is when BP’s upstream purified terephthalic acid (PTA) plant in Geel, Belgium, failed to resume production after maintenance, and declared force majeure.
