PetroChina to fix flood-hit gas pipeline in Sichuan by 23 July

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--PetroChina is rushing to repair its Lianshan-Pengzhou natural gas pipeline that was shut by floods in the southwestern province of Sichuan, and expects to fix the problem by 23 July, the company said on Tuesday. The pipeline's Yazi River section was broken on 11 July because of flooding that followed torrential rains in Sichuan, causing an emergency shutdown of the whole facility, it said.
