India’s SRF to build 40,000 tonne/year BOPET line in Thailand

MUMBAI (ICIS)--India’s SRF Ltd plans to build a biaxially-oriented polyethylene terephthalate (BOPET) film line in Thailand at an estimated cost of $60m, the company said late on Monday. The 40,000 tonne/year line will be set up at SRF’s existing complex in Rayong province, and is expected to become operational by September 2020, the company said in its statement.
