PetroChina Huabei to complete refinery expansion in Oct

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--PetroChina Huabei Petrochemical is expected to complete the expansion project at its refinery in Renqiu, Hebei province, by October this year, PetroChina said in a statement. The project doubles the refinery's production capacity to 200,000 bbl/day, it said. The CNY14bn ($2.2bn) expansion project includes a new 100,000 bbl/day crude distillation unit and several support facilities.
