MTBE trade from US to Belgium stalls in October 2017

LONDON (ICIS)--The typically steady movement of methyl tertiary butyl ether (MTBE) imports into Belgium from the US halted in October 2017, according to the latest Energy Information Administration (EIA) data. According to the EIA, the last time MTBE trade from the US to Belgium stalled was in June 2017. In September, 9,000 bbl (around 1,065 tonnes) left the US bound for Belgium.
