LONDON (ICIS)--Oil futures responded to the large 5.8m bbl increase in US crude stockpiles on Wednesday, compounding the bearish effect of data showing that US crude production had hit a new record high of 11.6m bbl/day. US crude inventories were up for the seventh time in a row and well beyond expectations for a 2.4m bbl increase.
