SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Petroleum benzene prices in east China rose after initial drops in the week. Relatively high price levels early in the week in the wake of last week’s increases met with buying resistance. Buyers adopting a wait-and-see stance, coupled with softened downstream styrene monomer (SM) prices dampened negotiating sentiment, leading to muted trade.
