US September MPG market tending toward balanced

HOUSTON (ICIS)--The US monopropylene glycol (MPG) market is tending toward balance in September as ample supply is offset by overlapping demand seasons.US August MPG contracts assessed by ICIS are at 78.0-84.5 cents/lb ($1,720- 1,863/tonne) FOB (free on board) east of the Rockies for industrial grade and 87.0-95.5 cents/lb for pharmaceutical grade.
