China C6 MLLDPE April offers firmer despite wide spread with commodity LLDPE

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Suppliers have hiked April shipment offers for hexene-based (C6) metallocene linear low density polyethylene (MLLDPE) cargoes to China on tight supply, despite a persistently wide spread with commodity LLDPE prices. ASEAN-origin C6 (hexane-based) MLLDPE cargoes were offered at $1,280-1,290/tonne CFR (cost & freight) CMP (China Main Ports) for April shipments, up by around $20/tonne month on month.
