China’s Sinochem Hongrun runs new PX plant at 70% capacity

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Sinochem Hongrun is running its new 0.8m tonne/year paraxylene (PX) plant at around 70% capacity after a trial run, market sources said. The Shandong-based plant started a trial run in early July and achieved on-spec production shortly after. The plant increased its operating rate to 70% recently.
