Comments: Borealis has declared force majeure for all cracker feeds and products from its cracker operations in Stenungsund,Sweden,due to a general power failure on the 25th December 2018.”At this point we are unable to predict when exactly the force majeure related to the cracker will be revoked”,a Borealis spokesperson said on Thursday.The company stressed it expected a low impact on polyolefin availability as it was taking all possible measures to meet normal demand.
