China methanol futures surge 2.45% on bullish sentiment

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China's methanol futures surged by 2.45% on Tuesday on bullish sentiment. Methanol’s major downstream commodities such as poly-propylene, polyvinyl chloride and pure terephthalic acid also rose. The price rally in poly-propylene and pure terephthalic acid even hit the maximum daily movement limit.
