Dow Q1 EBITDA down 24% on PE, isocyanates and siloxanes margin pressure

LONDON (ICIS)--The Materials Science Division of DowDuPont, the new Dow, reported 24% lower operating earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) at $1.92bn for the first quarter on 10% lower sales, it said on Thursday. Local prices were down in all segments except Performance Materials & Coatings, where local prices were flat. Volumes were up 1% while equity earnings were much lower.
