China PTA import prices rise on stronger domestic, futures markets

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s purified terephthalic acid (PTA) import prices rose, tracking gains in the domestic market. Domestic Chinese prices increased as a result of tight supply and steady downstream demand. Meanwhile, the September PTA futures contract rose by 6.25% on Monday, compared with 28 June.
