China’s acetic acid weekly average run rate drops to 67%

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--The average operating rate of acetic acid units in China fell to 67% in the week to 18 August from 73% the week before, ICIS data showed on Wednesday. Byaco (500,000 tonnes/year), Hebei Yingdu Gasification (500,000 tonnes/year), Shanghai Huayi (500,000 tonnes/year) in Wuwei have shut their acetic acid units since 15 August.
