LONDON (ICIS)--French supermarket chain Carrefour is to trial a new online model that aims to eliminate disposable packaging through the use of a re-fill system, it announced on Thursday. The system, called Loop, allows the customer to pay a deposit for the re-usable packaging of their products, which is gradually refunded to them each time they return the packaging.
